An abandoned Mouse
(A few months back, saw a mouse lying around in one of our conference rooms. Guess Me was in a little mischievous mood, so shot out this mail. There are a few references to I and Me's not too happy about it, but ppl at work donno me as Me too well).

Subject: An abandoned mouse
Once upon yesterday, as I was getting ready for a meeting in Level 2 VC, spotted a mouse lying on the table - unperturbed by the crowd around and happily nibbling away at the Polycom's neat curves. And then started the conversation:
Me: Hey, what are you doing here?
Mouse: Partying. Huh. What do you think?
Me: Are you lost?
Mouse: Ofcourse. Can't you see?
Me: Ok, so who's your master?
Mouse: Micer. That's what we call him.
Me: Or a mousee if its a her I guess?
Mouse: Gawd. You are right.
Me: So, who's it?
Mouse: If I knew, why would I be here?
Me: And how can I help? Should I blast out an e-mail to the whole world saying I've found a mouse?
Mouse: Not the whole world. Just to the micers and mousees of TEDI.
Me: Who shall I say is lost?
Mouse: You really can't see, can you? Tell 'em I don't have a tail (wireless), and am powerful (albeit through a battery), am all clickable and come from the renowned Logitech family.
Me: Ok. Will do. Btw, you'll owe me a thanks.
Mouse: Only if you take good care of me till then.
Me: Yup. For a talkative mouse like you, the drawer of my desk at Level 4 RW is the right place. I will not have to put up with your banter anymore. Now, just shut up.
Mouse: Talkative? Me? Dude, the way ppl crave for me, you'd have more people thronging your desk claiming I belong to 'em.
Me: C'mon. They'll have to somehow prove that they've been putting up with you for so long.
…
Thus, a mouse reached the confines of the drawer in my desk.
If this little creature is yours, please come by and take it before it messes up my desk.
Regards,
Radha.
p.s.:- Micers and mousees are terminologies in the mice world, so claims the mouse. Any one offended with those names will have to plead in the courts of the mice world.
p.p.s.:- Had to put you all in Bcc - didn't want to create a chain of replies to the whole world - err… micers and mousees of TEDI.
p.p.p.s.:- More about mouses here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
(TEDI is what we call our organization. And a Google search for TEDI will not point to our organization. :-))
