Yet another break from work in the other world

The same office. The same typical day. The same two people. Yet another break from work.

"They build places of worship. For us. And The Boss. So they can pray to us. So we hear their prayers and solve their problems."

"How do we make them understand that when they are created, we put a little bit of ourselves and Him into them? And thus they all have that ability in them to solve all their so-called problems?"

"But wasn't this a part of the specification that the Boss came up with, to ensure that they are all self-sufficient beautiful creatures who, together can create wonders on Earth that even he couldn't create?"

"True, it was. But there was a bug that created a few batches with a whole lot of manufacturing defects. And thus the hatred against each other. Thus the ego. Thus the fear. Thus the chivalry. Thus the slavery. Towards all non-important, detrimental stuff - stuff like race, religion, region, language etc."

"But we could upgrade them with the latest software, isn't it?"

"Well, thats where a basic fundamental design flaw emerged, you see. In all the melee of agile development with the release-early-release-often motto, the need for an easy upgrade path was overlooked."

"So no way we could make 'em realize?"

"Well, its kinda tough. We need them to realize on their own that there are better things they could do, than just bother so much about these inconsequential stuff. That's why Boss's so busy these days. He is trying to create circumstances that'll help the older generations realize. But its tough on him too. You know, its not always easy to provide a workaround for a bug that's a result of a design flaw."

"Now I understand why we couldn't create the impact we were supposed to when we were there. And why things have gone so worse after we returned. By the way, has the bug ever been fixed?"

"Yup. As soon as it was found. But the later generations have to deal with the older ones and the so called customs and traditions that the older ones have created. That's going to take quite some time in their world."

"But that means there's hope, isn't it?"

"Yup. There is. In His world, that is the only one that's constantly available. At all times."

"Thank God".
